  • Infiniband by Mellanox for MPI and access to file systems  (home (BeeGFS), scratch (Lustre), and archive )

Login Nodes

4 login nodes: 

Each login nodes has 2 Intel Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2683 v3 @ 2.00GHz CPUs ("Haswell", 14 cores/socket, a total of 28 cores/login node) and 128 GB memory

Compute Nodes

Standard Compute Nodes

  • 428 nodes, main spec: each with 2 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v4 @ 2.40GHz CPUs ("Broadwell", 14 cores/socket, 28 cores/node) and mostly with 128GB memory.

Nodes equipped with NVIDIA GPUs

Fat Memory Node

  • 1 node with 4 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E7- 8837  @ 2.67GHz CPUs ("Westmere", 8 cores/socket, 32 cores/node) and 1TB memory.

Super Fat Memory Node

  • 1 node with 4 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E7-8867 v4 @ 2.40GHz CPUs ("Broadwell", 18 cores/socket, 72 cores/node) and 2TB memory.
