Purpose: To create, customize, save, and share analyses. 

In this classroom instructor-led training course, you will learn how to use UDW+ for ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.  You will learn important business rules and processes in using financial data and will receive hands-on training in:

  • Creating basic analyses
  • Adding Filters
  • Saving analyses and the Catalog 
  • Column properties
  • Writing formulas
  • Pivot table and graph views
  • Totals and prompts
  • Sharing analyses via XML code
  • Bins (custom groupings)

Intended Audience: Advanced NYU financial reporting users, who have access to UDW+ and are familiar with financial data.

Training and Access:

Beginner Ad Hoc Classroom Training:

Enroll in FIN 850: UDW+ Ad Hoc Reports Classroom Training in NYUiLearn (2 hours).

The prerequisites for the course are:

a) FIN 800: UDW+ Dashboards Online Training in NYUiLearn plus FIN 801, 802, 803, or 804 Quiz.  We recommend becoming familiar with the UDW+ Dashboards prior to attending Ad Hoc Reports Classroom Training.

To check if you have chartfield access, run the 00. FAME Chartfield Security Report in UDW+.
