The NYU Digital Humanities Discussion Group is a university-wide channel for topics, projects, events, and ideas that cover the broad area of the Digital Humanities. The group does not currently sit under a division or center, but is looking at building a communication strategy to integrate efforts of other formal entities, such as the Humanities Initiative. We represent a variety of interests and experience. One does not need to be 'active' in Digital Humanities to participate in the discussion group: only a sincere interest in the topics as they relate to one's research, instruction, and publication. Each semester there are two brown-bag discussions hosted at Bobst Library. This wiki gathers the discussions and related materials to maintain momentum.
