Incident

Due to the recent upgrade to SSO for NYU & ITS Wikis, users are experiencing issues when trying to use language support. 

Issue

After the SSO upgrade, characters created with different languages are being displayed as question marks.

Resolution

Since upgrading to SSO, users cannot choose their desired language at the login screen. To fix this, log into NYU or ITS Wikis and change your default language from your profile page. 

Instructions for changing your default language:

1. After logging into NYU or ITS Wikis, choose your name at the top right and click "Settings"

2. Click "Edit" at the bottom of the page and choose your desired language under the language support drop down menu.

All users who want to use language support must use this method. There is currently no way to turn on a default language for an entire team or personal space
